Amanda & Jesse

There are weddings that feel like a celebration, and then there are weddings that feel like coming home. Amanda and Jesse’s day at Farm Vigano in South Morang was the latter. The heritage Italian estate, with its rambling farmhouse gardens and old-world charm, feels like a little corner of Europe tucked into Melbourne’s north. The ceremony was held on the lawn in front of the main building, and the look on Jesse’s face as Amanda walked down the aisle was one I won’t forget. The wonderful Hannah May Weddings led a ceremony full of heart, with Big Day Co weaving gorgeous florals through the day. What I loved most was the people: friends who felt like family, and kids right in the middle of everything.

Amanda was breathtaking in a custom gown designed by Jessica Coutures through Raffaele Ciuca Bridal, styled to perfection with makeup by Tonic Agency and hair by Madi Pain Hair. Jesse looked every bit her match in a tailored suit from Institchu. In true Italian style, the day was built around shared food, free-flowing wine and the easy warmth of family, before a sunset wander through the upper garden and down the long driveway as the light turned gold. From their first dance onwards, Melbourne Entertainment Company kept the dance floor full until the very last song. I had the joy of shooting this wedding alongside my friend Ellena Louise Videography, who captured the whole day beautifully on film.
